Your trust is our priority. We know that leadership development often involves personal insights, candid feedback, and meaningful learning data. We take the responsibility of protecting that information seriously. From the way we design our platform to the partners we work with, data security and privacy are built into everything we do.

What We Handle
We collect only what is needed to run your learning experience and administer the platform:
- Profile information — your name and work email address, provided by your organization or at sign-up
- Learning activity — completion history, scores, and feedback from practice conversations
- Usage and security data — how features are used, and login records to detect misuse
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as race, gender identity, or health information.
How We Protect It
- All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and communication with our database is encrypted
- Passwords are stored only as salted hashes and cannot be recovered by us or anyone else. Where your organization uses single sign-on, we hold no password at all
- Access is role-based. You cannot access other users' data, and only team members with a business need can access personal data
- Administrators at your organization can manage licenses and view aggregate reporting. They cannot see individual responses, conversations, or feedback
- Internal access to systems and data is limited to named administrators, protected by two-factor authentication
- We run regular security reviews, train our team on data handling, and maintain a documented incident response process
AI and Your Data
AI powers the roleplay conversations and the coaching feedback at the heart of Skillfully Said.
- What you type or say to an AI character is processed to generate a response. Scenarios are fictional, and you are never asked to describe real colleagues or personal circumstances
- Your responses are evaluated by our own in-house model, developed with input from organizational psychologists and designed to limit bias across genders, languages, and cultures
- We do not retain raw conversation content after your session ends. Only scores and feedback summaries are kept, held separately from the information that identifies you
- We never use your conversations, scores, or feedback to train our models
AI responses are synthetic and can occasionally be imperfect. Feedback is generated by an automated system and is not professional advice.
Because AI is central to Skillfully Said, using the platform means consenting to AI processing. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Cohort Features
Where your organization enables cohort features, your name and point total appear on a leaderboard visible to others in your cohort. Points reflect completion of weekly activity goals, not how well you performed. Your scores and feedback are never shown to anyone else. Your organization can disable this at any time.
Where Your Data Is Processed
All personal data is processed within the European Union or the European Economic Area. Our hosting and AI service providers hold recognized international information security certifications, including ISO 27001, and are contractually bound to data protection obligations equivalent to our own.
Client organizations receive a full sub-processor list on request, setting out each provider, what it processes, and where.
How Long We Keep It
We retain learning data only as long as necessary to deliver the service and meet legal requirements. When a subscription ends, data is securely deleted within 60 days.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our marketing website uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. You can review and change your preferences at any time through the cookie settings, which list every provider individually.
These technologies do not run inside the Skillfully Said platform and do not process learner data. We never sell or rent personal data.
